About The Role
We are looking for a high-level, self-motivated Lead Wealth Advisor to join our team at Rivertree.
The Lead Wealth Advisor serves as the lead advisor responsible for independently managing assigned client relationships. This role focuses on delivering high-quality financial planning, investment guidance, and unmatched client service. While you would be the primary point of contact for clients, the role does not include sales or business development responsibilities.
Rivertree Wealth is an independent RIA firm specialized in retirement planning for people age 50+. We are growing quickly due to our YouTube channel and podcast.
This is a fully remote position and an opportunity to jump into a fast-growing firm where you will play a key role in our continued growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead advisor for a group of assigned clients, managing the overall relationship and coordinating all aspects of their financial needs.
- Provide holistic financial planning, including retirement planning, cash flow analysis, estate and tax planning, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with our operational team to deliver coordinated, high-value client service.
- Prepare for and lead client meetings, document key outcomes, and ensure timely follow-up and implementation.
- Monitor planning milestones, market changes, and life events to initiate proactive client outreach.
- Have a great understanding of the operational side of the business.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure CRM and planning systems reflect the current client situation and tasks.
- Uphold fiduciary responsibility and align recommendations with client goals and firm best practices.

What You Won't Be Doing:
- Prospecting for new business
- Researching new investments or chasing shiny objects
- Creating extensive, 50 page financial plans
- Waiting for the phone to ring while sitting at a desk
- Serving as someone's personal assistant
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a financial advisor with at least 2 years as a lead advisor
- CFP® Professional
- Clean background check
- CPA (bonus points)
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 (dependent on experience & skill level)
- Bonus: 10% target, based on firm growth
- Benefits include paid holidays and PTO (20 PTO days, increasing annually), and 401(k) with company match.
- Provision of resources to set up a remote workspace (standing desk, computer and monitors, other tech equipment, etc.).
